JERRY ALLEN WALK
COUNCIL BLUFFS, IOWA - Jerry Allen Walk, age 41 years, 5 months and 1 day, of Glenwood, Iowa, formerly of Council Bluffs, entered into eternal rest on Saturday (March 30, 2002) in Council Bluffs.
Private graveside services were held on Wednesday, April 3, at Kensett Cemetery with the Rev. Robert Cumings officiating.
He was born on Oct. 29, 1960, to Paul Franklin and Arliene Opal (Borchardt) Walk in Osage. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force.
On June 22, 1991, he married Tracey Engels in Manly. Jerry was employed at the Omaha U.S. Postal Service for 17 years. He was of the Methodist faith.
He is survived by his wife, Tracey Walk; daughters, Chelsea Linden, Nikki Walk and Zoe Walk, all of Council Bluffs; sisters, Janiece Kinzle of Glenwood, Joyce Simanton of Niles, Mich., Judeen Keiran of Des Moines and Debbie Teachout of Amarillo, Texas; brother, Kevin Walk of Glenwood; several nieces and nephews; one great-niece; and four great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
