AGED MITCHELL RESIDENT DIES
FUNERAL SERVICES FOR MRS. SMITH, 82, ARE CONDUCTED
Mitchell – The funeral of Mrs. Ella Smith, 82, who died at her home here Monday, was held Wednesday afternoon at 4 o’clock at the Community church in charge of the Rev. George McNary of Little Falls, Minn., and former pastor of the Mitchell church.
Mrs. Charles Kathan of Osxage sang two solos with Mrs. McNary at the organ.
Pallbearers were F. H. Chandler, J. A. Klinger, William Wynn, Nathan Wheeler and A. R. Stokes.
Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery at Mitchell.

Eleanora Ann Stock was born September 12, 1857 in Mower Co., Minnesota the daughter of Caleb and Mary (Watkins) Stock. She married William Goodhue Smith 1847-1922. The son of John and Mary (Dawson) Smith. Her parents are also buried in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
Caleb Stock, her father was born November 6, 1828 in England and died August 23, 1912 in Mitchell Co., Iowa. Her mother Mary (Dawson) Stock was born May 10, 1833 in Wales, and died July 20, 1919 in Mitchell Co., Iowa
Her husband William Goodhue Smith was born April 15, 1847 and died January 26, 1919 in Mitchell Co., Iowa.
