ZIEGLER, ZEIGLER, SNEWBECK

Earl Zeigler**, 30, formerly of Stacyville, died at Los Angeles, California, on July 31, 1945, following a long illness.

Earl Zeigler, son of George Zeigler, was born on September 20, 1915, on his father's farm north of Stacyville. He attended Untion township school, and farmed at home until July, 1942, when he went to Seattle, Washington, and was employed in the shipyards there.

He was married in Seattle on December 20, 1942, to Margaret Jordan of McIntire. In 1943, they moved to Los Angeles, California, where he was employed at the North American Aviation plant and later at the Union Oil Co. until his death.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Margaret Zeigler, his father, George Zeigler; two brothers, Floyd, at home, and Carl of Rochester, Minnesota; and three sisters, Mrs. Ruth Becker of Los Angeles, Mrs. Myrtle Weber of Milwaukee, and Mrs. Alyce Snewbeck of Stacyville.

Funeral services were held Sunday, August 5, 1945, in the Union Chuch, conducted by the Rev. John Reps. Burial was in the Union Cemetery.
