MRS. ALBIN WINKELS
MCINTIRE RESIDENT
DIES IN HOSPITAL

Mrs. Albin Winkels, 30, McIntire, Iowa, died on Wednesday morning at 8:30 at the Mercy hospital in Mason City, of complications following a Caesarian operation three weeks ago. She had returned to her home ten days ago, but was taken back to the hospital Sunday.

She is survived by her husband; two children; one two-year-old; the three-week-old baby; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Oliver G. Erhart** of Johnsburg, Minnesota; and by two sisters.

[ Mitchell County Press, June 14, 1945 ]

** The newspaper was in error, stating that his name was Erhart. Confusion at the time may have also resulted in the middle initial of "G."
