Died Monday 6 FEB 1893

The death of John Egan, of Mitchell township, occurred Monday night at his home. The funeral services were held this morning at ten o'clock in the Church of the Sacred Heart.

NOTE: His tombstone was engraved as a birth date of 1806, but was later painted to read 1814. It is believed that 1814 is correct. -- kk
