Funeral services will be Thursday, March 8 at 1:30 p.m., at Champion Funeral Home for Amelia Schleuger, 83. Pastor Kit Belk will officiate at the service with burial in the Orchard Cemetery. Champion Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Amelia Louise Schwab was born in Herington, Kansas on February 12, 1901, the daughter of Frederich and Elizabeth Kruse Schwab. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith.
On September 22, 1919 she was united in marriage to Jacob Schleuger at Clarion.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Dorothy) Sprau of Nora Springs and Mrs. Darrold (Marcella) Walling of Orchard; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. John Polkow of Detroit, Michigan.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jacob; her son, Donald; her parents, two borthers and two sisters.
