Funeral services were held Monday, February 8, for Emma Hegg, 95, who died Friday, February 5, at the Mitchell County Hospital in Osage.
Services were held at the Champion Funeral Home with the Reverend Joseph Nesheim of Our Savoiro's Lutheran Church officiating. Burial was in the Rock Creek Cemetery, rural Osage. Champion Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Emma was born July 15, 1886 in Newburg Township, Mitchell County, Iowa, where she grew to adulthood. She was the daughter of Ole and Antonette Eidahl. Emma had lived in Osage since 1926.
She was united in marriage to Albert Hegg, November 5, 1932, in Austin, Minnesota.
Emma was preceded in death by her husband and three brothers.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Donald (Ardella) Dennis, Fulton, Texas, two sons, Wendell Duncan, Osage, Lavon Duncan, Des Moines, five grandchildren and one great-grandchild and two sisters, Mrs. Inga Grothe, St. Ansgar and Mrs. Clara Pembrook, Austin, Minnestoa.
