DIED.
BUCK- At her home in Osage, Friday night, May 15th, 1885 at 11 o'clock, Mrs. Jane E. Buck, aged 42 years and 9 months.
This sad bereavement coming very suddenly upon the stricken family and the friends of the deceased. Only a week before, she was apparently well, and was making preparations to visit her former home in Michigan, expecting to go this week. During the early part of last week she was taken with congestion of the stomach and became quite ill, but was not thought to be dangerously sick. On Friday she seemed to be much improved but grew suddely worse in the evening, and died before midnight.
Jane E. Bush was born at Prattsberg, Steuben County, New York, August 4, 1843. She was married to Mrs. R. H. Buck January 18, 18--, and lived at Three Rivers, Michigan, during the early years of her married life. In 1869 she moved to Osage with her husband and family, and has since then been a resident of this place. She was a kind and affectionate mother, and has endeared herself to a large circle of friends who join in sympathy with the sorrowing relatives. Her husband and two children one son and a daughter are left to mourn her loss.
The funeral was held from the house last Sunday and was largely attended by friends to pay the last sad tribute to the departed.
