FORMER RESIDENT OF OSAGE DIES IN WEST AFTER LONG ILLNESS

Osage, Oct. 29 – The body of Mrs. W. A. Perry, who died Tuesday in Pasadena, California, is being brought to Osage this week for burial. Mrs. Perry was born April 10, 1856 in Watertown, Wisconsin, coming to Burr Oak township with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Whitney in 1873.

She was married to William A. Perry December 25, 1878. To this union were born two children; Anna, who was killed in the cyclone that swept Burr Oak 35 years ago and Grace Perry of Pasadena.

Mr. Perry was killed soon after his daughter Anna’s death, when his sleeve caught in the belting of a gasoline engine.

In 1901, Mrs. Perry went to Watertown, Wisconsin to live and in 1924 joined her daughter, Grace, in Pasadena. She was stricken with paralysis 10 months ago.
