MRS. OTTO SIMMERING DIES IN ST. ANSGAR AFTER HEART ATTACKSt. Ansgar – Mrs. Otto Simmering, 59, died Tuesday at her home here following a heart attack.
Mrs. Simmering had been a resident of St. Ansgar for many years. Four years ago she fell and broke her hip and had been in failing health since that time.
Surviving are her husband, one son, Lawrence, of Ames, and one grandson.
Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Immanuel Lutheran Church with the Rev. Paul Brammer in charge, and burial will be in the south cemetery, St. Ansgar.

Augusta Tessman was born April 15, 1882 in Mitchell Co., Iowa, the daughter of Carl and Augusta (Groth) Tessman. She married Otto William Simmering, the son of Frederich and Elizabeth (Roehrs) Simmering.
