LAST RITES SUNDAY FOR GRAFTON WOMANGrafton – Funeral services for Mrs. Otto Rosel, 75, will be held at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Grafton Sunday at 2 p.m. She died Thursday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Rinhold Baumann, at Williams.
Survivors include her husband, two daughters, Mrs. Roy Buchele of Grafton and Mrs. Baumann and a son, Adolph, of Decorah; two brothers; Otto Simmering of Ames and William Simmering of Fairmont, Minn., and one sister; Mrs. Louise Toeter of Davenport.

Ida Sophie Simmering was born July 17, 1877 in Illinois, the daughter of Frederich and Elizabeth (Roehrs) Simmering. They moved from there to Mitchell County, Iowa. Her parents are buried in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, St. Ansgar.
Ida married Otto Rosel, the son of Leonhard and Hannah (Fehmeling) Rosel. In the WWI Draft registration his full name is shown as Carl Otto Franz Rosel. His parents are buried in St. Ansgar Cemetery.#3
