Osage – Galen M. Stoughton, of Salt Lake City, Utah, former Osage man, died May 30, 1945, at Ann Arbor, Michigan, following an operation.He was born in Osage, Iowa on July 15, 1895, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. George A. Stoughton.
He served as a commissioned officer in World War I, later studied engineering and was graduated from the course. He located in Utah in 1926 and at the time of his death was general manager of the Structural Steel and Forge Co. at Salt Lake City.He leaves his widow; an aunt; Mrs. Elizabeth Stoughton, in Osage.
