for Matt Fox, 82

OSAGE, IOWA - Sept. 17 — The funeral of Matt Fox, 82, who died suddenly Saturday evening, was conducted this morning at St. Peter's Church in New Haven by Rev. A. N. Tibeau.

Mr. Fox was one of the early pioneers in the New Haven community. His wife died six months ago.

Surviving are three daughters, Katie and Gertie, at home, and Mrs. John Miller, on a farm nearby.

According to Diane Fox Engelhardt, Matt was born Feb 24, 1847, and died Sept 14, 1929.
