OSAGE, IOWA - Robert J. Weinberger, 91, died Wednesday evening while sitting beside his familys' swimming pool. Funeral services will be Saturday noon at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. The Rosary will be said Friday at 8 p.m. in Champion Funeral Home. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
Born September 11, 1872, west of Osage, he was the son of William and Barbara Weinberger. He was married to Mary Hovel of Plymouth July 2, 1902. They celebrated their 62nd anniversary this month.
Surviving are his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Rose Chisholm, Mason City; Mrs. Joe (Mabel) Rogers, Osage; two sons, Louie and Lawrence, Osage; 26 grandchildren, 74 great-grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. L. A. Lewis, Whittier, Calif.
