Prayer services were conducted at the Schroeder & Houg Mortuary on Monday afternoon, December 30, 1946 at 1:30 for Hannah Knudson of Yankton, South Dakota. The Rev. O.A. Langehough was in charge with burial in the First Lutheran cemetery.

Hannah Nickolina Knudson was born the daughter of Amund and Kari Nubson at Beloit, Wisconsin December 27, 1867. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. On June 22, 1889, she was united in marriage to Lewis H. Knudson, who passed away November 1943.

Mrs. Knudson suffered from a heart attack November 10 and after an illness of two moths she passed away on December 26,1946 at the State Hospital at Yankton, South Dakota.

She leaves to mourn her passing, two daughters, Mrs. A.E. Engnes of Oskaloosa and Alma Knudson of St. Ansgar; two brothers, O.A. Nubson of Kensett, and Nickoli Nubson of Greenbush, Minnesota.

Funeral at St. Ansgar for Former Resident

ST. ANSGAR, IOWA — A prayer service was held Monday at the Schroeder and Houg funeral parlors at St. Ansgar, for Hannah Nickolina Knudson, 79, who died December 26 at a hospital at Yankton, South Dakota following several weeks illness of a heart ailment. The Rev. O. A. Langehough, pastor of the First Lutheran church, officiated and burial was in the First Lutheran cemetery north of St. Ansgar.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. A. E. Engnes of Oskaloosa, and Miss Alma Knudson, St. Ansgar; also two brothers, 0. A. Nubson, Kensett, and Nickoli Nubson, Green Bush, Minnesota.

Her husband, Lewis Knudson, St. Ansgar, died 3 years ago.
