M. J. Fox Dies;
Rites at Osage

OSAGE, IOWA - Martin J. Fox, 81, prominent Mitchell County landowner died Tuesday night in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Hubbard, Mason City. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Sacred Heart Church, Osage and burial will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery.

Mr. Fox was born February 15, 1874 in Wisconsin to Mr. and Mrs. John Fox and came to Osage when a child with his parents. He lived in Osage until he was seriously injured in an auto accident in 1944 after which he lived in the Mercy Hospital in Mason City and the Hubbard home.

Survivors are a brother, Will Fox, Osage; and numerous nieces and nephews in Mitchell County.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Mrs. Lewis Husesselman**, and a brother Jack.

The Rosary will be spoken Thursday and Friday at 8 p.m. in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Fox near St. Ansgar.
