Ronald E. Schulz (Died March 7, 2011)

Ronald Eugene Schulz, age 73, of Osage, died Monday, March 7, 2011, at his home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 11, 2011, at the Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home in Osage, with grandson Joshua Schulz officiating. Inurnment will be at the Osage Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home.

Ronald was born December 11, 1937 in Mitchell, the son of Harold and Esther (Baker) Schulz. Ronald married Marjorie Lassahn on October 9, 1955 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. They made their home around the Osage area. Ronald worked for the Smolik Brothers on their steam engines in his younger years.

Ronald is survived by two daughters, Jean (Les) Perry of Riceville; MayBelle (Rick) Brockney of Riceville, a son, Kenneth Schulz of New Port Richey, Florida; 13 grandchildren, Aimee Krebsbach, Aaron Perry, RoAnn Perry, Michelle (Lance) Bushbaum, Amanda Brockney, David Brockney, Adam (Terri) Schulz, Joshua I. (Jessica) Schulz, Matthew (Candace) Schulz, Autumn (Jason) Weitzel, Megan Schulz, Samantha Schulz and Dakota Schulz; 15 great-grandchildren: two sisters, Marjorie Cabral of Napa, California, Patricia (Bill) Moore of Albuquerque, New Mexico; and a brother, Terry (Linda) Schulz of Osage.

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Marjorie in 2007; his son, Ricky Schulz; three grandchildren, Pacer, Aaron and Naomi Power; and a niece, Laurie Angell.
