OTTO K. KOBALL FUNERAL HELD FIRST LUTHERAN
Funeral services for Otto Karl Koball, 72, who died Thursday, April 10, 1969 at the Mitchell County Memorial hospital, Osage, were held Saturday, April 12 at First Lutheran church, St. Ansgar, with the Rev. Don Comnick officiating.
Otto Karl Koball was born November 16, 1896 in Germany where he was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. He came to this country at the age of 16, with several friends and worked on farms in the Elkton, Minn. area. Later he attended Mechanic School in Austin, and prior to working in local garages for over 40 years, he clerked for the late H.E. Falk in his Dry Good Store.
He was united in marriage to Minnie Benson June 21, 1922 at Austin. He is survived by his wife, Minnie, and daughter, Florence Nelson, Rockford, Ill. Also surviving in Germany are two sisters and one brother. He was preceded in death by a son, Lawrence, and three brothers and his parents in Germany.
Burial was in First Lutheran cemetery with Rev. Comnick in charge of the committal service.
