FORMER OSAGE BOY
DIED AT SEATTLEArthur Elmer Swain, 62 year old jeweler, died at his home in Seattle, Washington, recently, according to a Washington newspaper clipping sent us recently.
Mr. Swain was born in Osage and grew up here. He had lived in Seattle thirty-five years.
Death was due to apoplexy. He had planned to participate in the Shine convention during the week of his death, and was scheduled to play cornet in a band concert on the evening of the day following his death.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Anna Swain; a brother, Isaac Swain, of Prosser; and three sisters, Mrs. W. J. Wood, Seattle, Mrs. Herbert F. Gambell, Tacoma, and Mrs. T. J. Harley, Touchet, Washington.
