Death has again visited the locality northwest from St. Ansgar and two respected citizens have paid the debt they owed to nature. On Wednesday of last week, Martin Jorgenson and Jorgen E. Sorum, both residing just across the line into Otranto township, passed away.
Mr. Jorgenson was an old citizen of this county, having resided here for about twenty years. He was highly respected by all and his death brought sadness to many hearts. Deceased leaves a wife and one grown up daughter to mourn his loss. Mr. Sorum was a young man about twenty-five years of age and has been a sufferer from a complication of diseases for some time. We had no personal acquaintance with him but hear him highly spoken of.
Both funerals took place Saturday from the Norwegian Lutheran church and were largely attended.
We are told that Mr. Sorum was a nephew of Mr. Jorgenson.
