WILLARD J. TYRELL DIES AT OSAGE; RITES SATURDAY
Osage – Willard J. Tyrrell, 84, retired attorney, died Monday night at the Mitchell County Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at the First Methodist Church here. Burial will be in the Riceville Cemetery.

Surviving are his widow, Lena; three daughters; Mrs. Harriett Oster, Los Angeles; Mrs. Donald (Winifred) Clark, Osage; Mrs. Olaf Waldeland, St. Paul; two sons, Scott Tyrrell, Tucson, Ariz.; Donald Tyrrell, Spencer; a stepson, Norris Nesset, Palatine, Ill.; 17 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren.

Willard’s first wife was Hannah Bertha Smalling, the daughter of Dorance K and Harriet Smalling. She died January 14, 1941.

After the death of his first wife he married Lena Elizabeth (Nelson) Nesset.

MRS. LENA NESSET WEDS OSAGE LAWYER
St. Ansgar – Mrs. Lena Nesset, daughter of Mrs. Frank Nelson, St. Ansgar, and Willard J. Tyrrell, Osage attorney, were married Wednesday morning at 10 o’clock, at the First Lutheran parsonage, by the Rev. O. A. Langehough. Attending the couple were Mrs. Nesset’s mother, and Mr. Tyrrell’s daughter of Osage. After a trip to North Dakota the couple will reside at Osage.
