KIDNEY AILMENT IS FATAL FOR OSAGE LAD
Osage – Gary Lee Clark, 11, died Saturday evening of a kidney ailment having had frequent hospitalizations for years following a weakness since birth.
The fifth grade pupil in Washington grade school spent seven weeks in University Hospital at Iowa City, recently, and was admitted to a local hospital again a short time before his death.
Funeral rites will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in First Congregational Church in charge of Rev. C. D. James, with burial in the Osage Cemetery.
Gary was born July 22, 1937, at Osage and lived at Orchard four years. He accompanied his parents to Osage in 1941, where he has since lived. He belonged to Methodist church in Osage, and its Sunday school, and was an active member of the cub scouts.
Survivors include his parents and Donald and Winifred (Tyrrell) Clark, a younger sister, Marijane, and his grandparents, Attorney and Mrs. Willard Tyrrell, all of Osage.
