MRS. LEWIS SEDLACEK DIED AT 53

Mrs. Lewis (Lois) Sedlacek, 53, died Thursday in a hospital at Rochester, Minnesota. She had lived in the Mason City community for 33 years and made her home at 303 Tennessee SE.

Mrs. Sedlacek was born September 21, 1910 in Mitchell County, the daughter of Charles and Bertha (Witzel) Nicholson. She was married to Lewis Sedlacek on November 4, 1951, in Mason City.

She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church and the Grandmothers Club of Mason City.

Surviving are her husband, a son, Charles C. Williams, Sioux City; two daughters; Mrs. Clair (Verba) Meredith, Lake Crystal, Minn.; and Mrs. Gary (Rose Mary) Muhlenbruck, Thornton; and nine grandchildren.

Two brothers, Elmer Nicholson, St. Ansgar; and Wilbur Nicholson, Amboy Minn., and a sister, Verna Rosensteel, Northwood; also survive.
She was preceded in death by a son, Leslie Geist, and five brothers and five sisters.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at St. James Lutheran Church. The Rev. Donald Loots will officiate. Burial will be in St. Ansgar Cemetery. Friends may call at the Patterson James Chapel from 3 p.m. Saturday until noon Monday.

According to a family tree found on Ancestry.com, she was married to August Geist; Samuel Williams and Lewis Sedlacek.
