OSAGE, IOWA — The body of Clinton Marion Buttolph, 72, of Osage, was to arrive here late Tuesday. He died of a heart attack early Tuesday morning in a cabin at Deere River, Minnesota while on a fishing vacation.
He had arrived at the cabin late Monday accompanying Mr. and Mrs. James Hickle of Ionia following retirement from farming engaged in carpenter work. He lived in the Riceville area most of his life, coming to Osage in April this year.
He is survived by his wife; five daughters: Mrs. Marian Hickle, Cedar Rapids, Mrs. Ray Cornelius, Le Roy, Minnesota, Mrs. Joseph Jensen, Albert Lea, Minnesota, Mrs. James Hickle, Ionia, and Laretha, of Osage; two sons, Seymour, Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and Sven, Crystal, Minnesota; three brothers; and two sisters.
