AGED RESIDENT DIES AT OSAGE
FUNERAL HELD MONDAY FOR MRS. BELLE MILLER

Osage – Committal services were held Monday for Mrs. Ezra Miller at the Osage cemetery. Service was in charge of the Rev. Glenn Hartong, Osage Methodist pastor. Mrs. Miller, ill for some time, died Saturday at a Council Bluffs hospital.

Bell Rachael Horton was born June 29, 1859, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Horton, near Rochester, Minn. As a girl, she moved with her parents to a farm west of Osage.

In 1878 she married Ezra Miller, who died in 1924. They were married in Osage then went to Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Later they established the general store at Pisgah, which is now being operated by the 2nd and 3rd generation.

Surviving are 2 brothers, Thomas, Los Angeles, Cal., and William Henry of Osage, 3 sisters, Lillian Horton Miller, Santa Rose, Cal.; Mrs. H. J. Slawson, Osage; and Jennie Horton Phelps, Racine, Wisc., one son, Roy Miller, Pisgah, Wis., one son, Roy Miller, Pisgah, Wis., one son, Roy Miller, Pisgah, a grandson, Francis Miller of Pisgah, and one granddaughter Jennabel Miller, Omaha, Nebraska.
