CHARLES E. HESS
Osage -- Charles E. Hess, 67, died at his home here Friday morning following a heart attack. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at Champion Funeral Home.
Surviving are his wife, the former Ethel Johnson; a daughter, Mrs. Robert Clay, Cresco; a son, Charles E. Jr., St. Louis, Mo., a sister; Mrs. Fanny Bollstadt, Clermont, Minnesota.
Born at LeCenter, Minn., to John and Mary Hess, he was a graduate of Owtonna Business College. He was an internal revenue officer and had lived in Osage the last 16 months.

Osage -- Last rites were held Monday at the First Methodist Church for Charles E. Hess, 67, retired Internal Revenue officer. He died from a heart attack at his Osage home, Friday morning.
Burial was in the Riverside Cemetery, Rockford.
