MRS. VINNIE B. PURVINE
Mrs. Vinnie B Purvine of Okmulgee, Oklahoma, died Thursday in a local hospital. She was the mother of Master Sgt. James Purvine of Randolph A.F.B. and had been in San Antonio for one day when she became ill.
The body will be sent to Okmulgee for services and burial.
Other survivors are daughters, Mrs. Vernon Hyde of Stockton, Calif., Mrs. Vernon Tollison and Mrs. Henry Tollison, both of Okmulgee; and a son, Billy B. Purvine of Okmulgee.

Vinnie Beatrice (Slawson) Purvine was born March 22, 1885 in Mitchell County Iowa, the daughter of James Henry Slawson and Hannah (Baer) Slawson. She married William Wesley Purvine, the son of David Purvine and Elizabeth (Hicks) Purvine.
She was buried in the Okmulgee Cemetery, Okmulgee, Oklahoma. (Find A Grave Memorial)
Her parents are buried in the Osage, Mitchell Co., Iowa Cemetery.
