MRS. FOLSOM FUNERAL HELD
ALLAMAKEE COUNTY WOMAN, 54, DIES AT ROCHESTER HOSPITALOsage – Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 1 o’clock at the Champion Funeral Home in charge of the Rev. Mr. Stiles Lessly of the Osage Congregational Church for Mrs. Loney Folsom, 54, who died Sunday evening at the Worrall hospital in Rochester, Minn.
She spent all her life except the last six years in Allamakee County.
Surviving are her husband and three daughters, Mrs. Ray Simpson; Mrs. Leo Havlicek; and Mrs. Max Morrison all of Osage; six grandchildren; two sisters; Mrs. A. W. Swenson; and Mrs. Richard Folsom; and one brother, Warner Harris, all of Postville.
Burial was made in the Osage Cemetery.Mason City Globe Gazette, Thursday November 2, 1939
