Duane Earl Loftus 1949-1949
Osage, Iowa – Funeral rites were scheduled for Monday at 9 a.m. for baby Duane Earl Loftus, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Loftus, who died early Sunday morning at St. Mary’s Hospital, Rochester, where taken for treatment Saturday evening. Burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery.
Baby Duane was born Thursday at an Osage Hospital, seemingly well at birth.
Survivors include his parents, Robert and Melva (Kunze) Loftus; a sister, Colleen; three brothers, Donald; John Michael; and Dean, all at home; grandparents, Mrs. And Mrs. Walter Loftus, Waterloo, and Mr. and Mrs. George Kunze, Rochester, Minn., and great grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Michael Montague, Washington, D.C.
