FORMER MITCHELL SUPERVISOR DIES
Osage – Funeral services for Lee Barker, 58, former Mitchell County supervisor and once county assessor, who died Wednesday from coronary thrombosis, were incomplete Thursday. He was stricken December 26th and was hospitalized most of the time since.
Mr. Barker had been a resident of Osage since 1946 when he retired from the farm in Burr Oak Township.
Survivors include the widow, one daughter; Mrs. Jack Tidemanson of Osage, two sons; Kent of Osage; and Lt. Richard who is in Korea; a sister, Mrs. Arthur Minnis of Riceville, and eight grandchildren.
