Anna Lucinde Helgesen was born near St. Ansgar, Iowa May 31, 1855 and died May 22, 1917. She was baptized and confirmed by Rev. C.L. Clausen.

May 15, 1873 she was married to Andrew Halvorson. This union was blessed with twelve children, who together with their father, are all living. They are: Mrs. G.J. Johnson, St. Ansgar, Iowa, Henry and Albert, Glyndon, Minn., George and Mrs. I.A. Dahl and Martin, St. Ansgar, Iowa, Mrs. C.I. Dahl, Adrian, N.D., Clarence, Park Rapids, Minn., Clar, Elmer, Irvin and Lorene, St. Ansgar, Iowa all of whom were present at the funeral but Henry and Albert.

She also leaves to mourn a sister, Mrs. Maria Wood, Jordan, Minn., and sixteen grandchildren.

The funeral was held at the U.N.L. church at St. Ansgar conducted by Rev. Waldeland and Rev. C.P. Heltne. Her remains were laid to rest at the U.N.L. Riverview cemetery.

The following relatives were present at the funeral: Mrs. P. Jacobson and Mrs. O. Olson, Clear Lake, Iowa, Hans, Eddie and Bennet Bergersen, and Adolph Ellingson, Emmons, Minn., Rev. C.P. Heltne and family, and Mrs. O.H. Halvorson, Lawler, Iowa, Herman and Ingvold Halvorson, Osage, Iowa, Mr. and Mrs. Bendickson, Oakland, Minn., Mrs. J. DuShane, Charles City, Iowa.

Heartfelt gratitude and thanks are extended to all friends who so often visited our departed wife and mother during her sickness and cheered her with kind words and beautiful flowers, and to the many friends who extended their sympathy after her death and at the funeral. We greatly appreciate your kindness.

Mrs. A.H. Halvorson who has been sick so long was released from her sufferings Tuesday morning. The funeral will be held Saturday at ten o'clock at the home and at eleven o'clock at the U.N.L. church.

ANNA LUCINDE HELEGESEN HALVORSON

Anna Lucinda Helegesen, Daughter of John and Annie (Larsen) Helegesen was born May 31, 1855. She married Andrew Halvorson May 15, 1873. To this union twelve children were born. She died May 22, 1917.

Mrs. A. H. Halvorson, who had been very ill at her home south of town, for some months, died Tuesday. The funeral was held at the N. L. church Saturday, conducted by Rev. M. E. Waldeland. Interment was at the cemetery at Rock Creek*.
