FRANCIS LIVELY
Riceville – Francis Lively, 66, died Tuesday at the Veterans Hospital in Iowa City. Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Chisholm Funeral Home. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
Born November 30, 1897, at Riceville, he was the son of Michael and Margaret Lively. He was a veteran of World War I.
Surviving are his wife, Vernice; two daughters, Mrs. Donald Wiltgen, Fountain, Colorado; Mrs. Merrill Markham, Cedar Rapids; a son, Roswell, Cedar Rapids; a brother, Henry, Rochester, Minn.; a sister, Mrs. Gene Quinn, Riceville; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Earl.
