ST. ANSGAR, IOWA - Services for Herbert E. Marcks, 62, who died Monday of a heart attack while fishing at Baudette, Minnesota, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Immanuel Lutheran Church; burial in the church cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Louise**; one- daughter, Mrs. Roger Stohr of St. Ansgar; two sons, Frederick*** and Dennis, both of St. Ansgar; three brothers: Albert and Emil, both of Austin, Minn., and Walter of St. Ansgar, and one sister, Mrs. Garrett Roby of Osage.
Schroeder and Houg Funeral Home is in charge of arrqangements.

H.E. MARCKSFuneral services for Herbert Marcks, 61, of St. Ansgar, Iowa, were held on June 11, 1971, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in St. Ansgar. Rev. N. Betke, pastor, was in charge. Burial was in the Immanuel Cemetery.
Herbert Emil Alfred Marcks was born on March 25, 1910, in Newburg township, Mitchell County, Iowa, the son of August and Ernestine Waehlin Marcks.
He was baptized at St. John's Lutheran Church by the Rev. G. Bieroff and was confirmed on June 14, 1925, by Rev. P. Brammer. He remained a communicant member of the Immanuel Lutheran church in St. Ansgar.
Lucille Dieterich and Herbert Marcks were married and have farmed in the St. Ansgar area since.
Mr. Marcks suffered a heart attack on June 7, 1971, wile on a fishing trip at Baudette, Minnesota.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.
Survivors include his wife, Lucille; one daughter, Mrs. Rodger (Sharon) Stohr, and two sons, Cedric and Dennis, all of St. Ansgar; three brothers, Albert of Austin, Walter Marcks of St. Ansgar, and Emil Marcks of Austin; one sister, Mrs. Garrett (Laura) Roby of Osage; and nieces and nephews.
