Born 10-19-25, Mitchell Co., Iowa. Son of Alva (Jim) Balsley & Lillian Mussetter Balsley.
Preceded in death by parents and baby brother.

Survived by wife, Marian Chandler Balsley; son, James, Coon Rapids; daughter & son-in-law, Patricia & Larry McDermott, Apple Valley; daughter-in-law Pamela; grandchildren, Shannon, Jeffrey & Amanda McDermott & John & Tammie Balsley; sister & brother-in-law, Mary Ann & Dr. Jose Garcia-Oller, New Orleans; cousins, Shirley Pearl & Ella Ruth & Gordon Hendrickson; four nieces; two nephews & all the Chandler families of Ionia, Iowa area.
