MRS. H. GAARDER DIES AT OSAGE; RITES THURSDAY

Osage – Tentative funeral arrangements have been made for Mrs. Henry Gaarder, 65, lifelong Osage resident, who died Monday at the Mitchell County Memorial Hospital here.

The arrangements call for the funeral to be held Thursday afternoon at Our Saviors Lutheran Church here. The Champion Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Surviving are her husband, two daughters; Mrs. Harold (Elaine) Ennis and Mrs. Earl (Anita) Nelson, both of Mason City; three sons, Norman, Osage; Merrill, Albuquerque, New Mexico; and Lawrence, Yearington, Nevada; and 11 grandchildren.

Cordelia May Hansen was born May 20, 1896 in Mitchell Co., Iowa, the daughter of Christian L and Mary Kathryn (Miller) Hansen. She married Henry Norman Gaarder, the son of Ellif and Gunnield (Leverson) Gaarder.
