OSAGE, IOWA - Wilma A. Hintz, 86, died Sunday (Oct. 3, 1999) at Osage Rehabilitation and Health Care Center, Osage.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 5, at Champion Funeral Home, Osage, with the Rev. Robert Barrick officiating. Interment will be in Sunnyside Memory Gardens in Charles City.
Visitation will be for one hour before services Tuesday at the funeral home.
Wilma was born March 8, 1913, in Charles City, the daughter of Albert and Clara (Pudil) Kreger. She was educated in Charles City schools and graduated from Charles City High School.
Wilma received her Teaching Certificate from Iowa State Teachers College in Cedar Falls. She taught in country schools in the Charles City area.
Wilma married Harold Hintz. They farmed in the Floyd and Orchard areas until 1973 when they retired and moved to Prescott Valley, Ariz. Harold died in 1975. Wilma continued to live in Prescott Valley until 1995 when she became a resident at the Osage Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.
She is survived by her special friends, Burrell and Clara Belle Raymond of rural Orchard.
Wilma was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
