DANA ANN QUEBE

CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA - Dana Ann Quebe, 19, of Cedar Rapids, died Sunday (Aug. 1, 1999) in Chicago.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Deer Creek Lutheran Church in Carpenter, with the Rev. Kathy Larson officiating. Burial will be in Deer Creek Cemetery, Carpenter, Iowa.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Schroeder & Sites Funeral Home, 207 S. School St., St. Ansgar, Iowa.

Dana Ann Quebe was born Feb. 24, 1980, to Jerry and Julie (Gordon) Quebe, in Arlington Heights, Illinois.

She graduated from John Hersey High School in Arlington Heights, Illinois. In 1998, she completed her first year in the Western College at Miami University at Oxford, Ohio. She was an avid hockey and sports fan. She had a compassion for animals.

She is survived by her mother, Julie Quebe, of Cedar Rapids; her father, Jerry Quebe, of Chicago; her maternal grandparents, Lynn and Beverly Gordon, of Carpenter; her paternal grandparents, Charlie and Kathryn Quebe, of Corwith; half brother, Chad Darby, of Beaverton, Ore.; and a half sister, Tara Blietz, of West Palm Beach, Florida.

A memorial fund has been set up at the Miami University. Please send memorials to Melanie Parscal, Miami University, 725 E. Chestnut, Oxford, Ohio 45056. Please specify Dana Quebe Memorial Fund.
