ELLA AURINGER, RETIRED TEACHER, DIES IN OSAGE
Osage – Ella Auringer, 65, died at her home here Monday night. Born in Riceville, she was the daughter of Daniel and Maria Auringer. She was a graduate of Riceville high School and State Teachers College, Cedar Falls. She taught more than 30 years.
Surviving are a brother, Floyd; five sisters; Mrs. T. W. Zilk, Monticello, Minn.; Mrs. C. W. Coder, Oregon City, Ore.; Mrs. Myra Henning, Sandwich, Ill.; Mrs. Stella Flack, Osage, with whom she lived; and Mrs. A. H. Fuhrman, Iowa Falls.
Funeral services are set tentatively for Thursday at the Champion Funeral Home. The Rev. Norman Brooks will officiate. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Riceville.
