Funeral services are pending for Donald Finnegan, 54, of Lyle, who died this morning, September 16, 1994, at St. Olaf Hospital, Austin, are tentatively set for Monday, and will be announced later by the Worlein Funeral Home, Austin.

Lyle-Funeral services for Donald Finnegan, 54, of Lyle, who died September 16, 1994, at
St. Olaf Hospital, Austin, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, at the Worlein Funeral Home Chapel,
Austin, with Rev. Harold Luecke officiating.

Interment will be at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Mona, Iowa.

Friends may call at the Worlein Funeral Home, Austin 2-5 p.m. Sunday, and 9-11 a.m. on Monday.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Patrick J. and Lora Finnegan of Cleveland, Texas;
daughters and son-in-law, Wendy and Matt Dingley of Kearney, Nebraska, and Kasey Finnegan of Austin; four grandchildren; brother and
sister-in-law, Jack and MaryLou Finnegan of West Melbourne, Florida; two nieces; and an aunt, Katherine Howard of Lyle.

Lyle - Funeral services for Donald James Finnegan, 54, of Lyle, who died September 16, 1994, at St. Olaf Hospital, Austin, were held at 11 a.m. today, at the Worlein Funeral Home Chapel, Austin with Rev. Harold Luecke
officiating.

Interment was at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Mona, Iowa. Military rites provided by the Lyle American Legion Post No. 105.

The Worlein Funeral Home, Austin, was in charge of the arrangements.

He was born March 27, 1940 in Grafton, Iowa, to
Archie and Laura (nee) Luense Finnegan.

He graduated from Lyle High School. He was formerly employed at the Austin Utilities. He served in the Army from June 9, 1958 to March 22, 1961. He was a member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church of Lyle. He was a member of the Lyle American Legion Post No. 105.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Patrick J. and Lora Finnegan of Cleveland, Texas; daughters and son-in-law, Wendy and Matt Dingley of Kearney, Neb., and Kasey Finnegan of Austin, four grandchildren, brother and sister-in-law Jack and MaryLou Finnegan of West Melbourne, Florida; two nieces; and an aunt, Katherine Howard of Lyle.

Casket bearers were: Roger Etzig, David Leidall,
George Faas, Rick Stephens, Arnold Schwamm, and
Greg Faas.

Organist was David Dahlquist, Sologist, was Steve Price.
