MOTHER OF MITCHELL COUNTY ATTORNEY DIES AT OSAGE
Osage – Mrs. Maude R. Brown, 76, died Thursday at the Mitchell County Memorial Hospital following a heart attack.
Funeral services will be Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Champion Funeral Home. The Rev. Norman Brooks of the First Congregational Church will officiate. Burial will be in Osage Cemetery.
Born May 26, 1884, at Orchard, she was the daughter of Noah and Julia Naden. She was married December 26, 1911, to Arnold E Brown, an Osage attorney. He died in 1935.
Surviving are a son, Mitchell, County Attorney Loren N Brown, Osage; a daughter, Mrs. James (Kathryn) Wormley, Moline, Ill., and two grandsons. Two brothers and a sister preceded her in death.

Maude Reatta Naden was the daughter of Noah Samuel Naden and Julia (Sprague) Naden. She married Arnold Elmer Brown, the son of Loren Stebbins Brown and Mary Elizabeth (Tupper) Brown.
