FORMER MITCHELL COUNTY MAN DIES IN CALIFORNIA

Osage – Frank A. Sherwin, 63, a former Mitchell County resident, died of a heart attack Sunday at Sacramento, California. Committal services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Osage Cemetery. The Rev. John Woodin will officiate and Champion Funeral Home will be in charge.

Born in Mitchell County, September 16, 1898, to Dennis and Emma Sherwin, he was a veteran of World War I. He had been employed at a lumber camp in California.

Surviving are two sisters; Mrs. Maude Towner, Floyd; Mrs. Will McCutcheon, Burbank Calif.; two brothers; Lloyd , Floyd; Robert, Charles City.
