TABBERT RITES HELD IN OSAGE
MRS. WILL TABBERT , 55, DIES AFTER 10 WEEKS SICKNESSOsage, Oct. 16. – Mrs. Will Tabbert, 55, died Tuesday morning after an illness of 10 weeks. The funeral was held this afternoon in the Trinity Lutheran Church with the pastor, the Rev. F. A. Brauer in charge. Burial was in the local cemetery.
Mrs. Tabbert was born May 8, 1875 in Arlington, Wisconsin. When she was 16 years of age, she came to Mitchell County with her parents, where they settled on a farm near Mitchell. She was married November 28, 1895 to Will Tabbert and they located on a farm in Rock township where they lived until they moved to Osage, several years ago.
Surviving are the husband and four children: Mrs. Gladys Borchardt, Plymouth; Mrs. Myrtle Schmidt, Rock township; and Louise and Victor at home.
Mrs. Tabbert’s mother and four brothers and sisters; Mrs. Louise Schmidt; Miss Ella; and Karl of Osage; Mrs. John Becker and August Schmidt of Denver, Colo., also survive.

Anna (Schmidt) Tabbert was the daughter of Michael Schmidt and Marie Louisa (Ravenberg) Schmidt. Note* the maiden name for her mother comes from the 1925 Iowa Census.
Anna married William F Tabbert, the son of Christian and Pauline Tabbert. In the 1925 Iowa Census they list his mothers maiden name as Vecker, not verified.
