GRACE GARDNER RITES PENDING AT OSAGE

Osage – Mrs. Grace Gardner, 83, died Monday morning at the Mitchell County Memorial Hospital. Funeral services are pending at the Champion Funeral Home.

Born in Osage, she was the daughter of the Rev. and Mrs. Alva Bush. Her father was the first teacher of the Cedar Valley Seminary here. She was married to Clark Gardner, owner of the Gardner Nursery here. He died in 1950. She was a charter member of PEO of Osage.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. R. E. Woehrle, Grafton, Minn., a son, Robert, Osage, three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Grace (Bush) Gardner was born August 20, 1877, the daughter of Rev. Alva bush and Eliza Jane (Moore) Bush. She married Clark Earl Gardner, the son of Charles and Emma (Gilman) Gardner.
