MRS. C. WAYNE DIES AT OSAGE, RITES PENDING
Osage – Mrs. Claude Wayne, 68, died Wednesday morning at the Mitchell County Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church. Arrangements are incomplete at the Champion Funeral Home.
The daughter of Bernt and Helene Olson, she was born at Park River, N.D., and came here as a child. She was employed at the Mitchell County Memorial Hospital until retiring. She was married in 1933.
Surviving are two sisters; Mrs. Martha Timmerman, Riceville; Mrs. Clarence Miller, Osage; three brothers, Oscar, Decorah; Ole, Waterloo; Alfred, Osage. She was preceded in death by her husband, a sister and a brother.

Laura Caroline Olson was the daughter of Bernt and Helene (Antonson) Olson. She married Claude Wayne, the son of Isaac Wayne and Elnora (Johnston) Wayne. She was the 2nd wife Of Claude Wayne. His first wife Roba Ina (Hammond) Wayne died in 1916.
She was buried in the Osage City Cemetery.
