ROSIE KRUTSINGER

RICEVILLE, IOWA - Rosie Krutsinger, 87, formerly of Riceville, passed away on Wednesday (June 14, 2000) at Rockwell Nursing Home in Rockwell.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday at the Riceville United Methodist Church, with Pastor Deborah Stowers officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Riceville.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Lindstrom Funeral Home in Riceville.

Rosie Clara Krutsinger (Linderkamp) was born to Herman H. and Lulu F. Otto Linderkamp on Aug. 18, 1912, in Grant County, Milbank, S. D. She lived and attended school in South Dakota until 1923, when her parents moved the family to a farm south of Rockford, where she continued her schooling.

She worked in many private homes and at Marshall and Swift in Mason City, Mercy Hospital in Mason City, Memorial Hospital in Osage, and the Riceville Hospital in Riceville. Rosie also had roomers in her home since 1936.

On July 9, 1958, she was united in marriage to Charles Howard Krutsinger. No children were born to this union. They moved to a farm south of Riceville on Feb. 14, 1961, which Rosie bought. Howard passed away on Sept. 20, 1967, with cancer. Rosie then sold her farm and bought a home in Riceville.

Survivors include one brother, Earl L. Linderkamp, of Lisbon, N. D., and several nieces and nephews.

Rosie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Howard, in 1967; three sisters, Emma, Edna and Ella; and one brother, Albert Linderkamp.
