CECELIA H. MILLER

STACYVILLE, IOWA - Cecelia H. Miller, 85, of Stacyville, died Monday (June 12, 2000) at the Stacyville Community Nursing Home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Visitation Catholic Church in Stacyville, with the Rev. Philip Recker officiating. Burial will be in the Visitation Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. today at the Visitation Catholic Church with a 3 p.m. rosary and a prayer service at 7:30 p.m.

Cecelia was born Nov. 22, 1914, at Spring Grove, Illinois, daughter of John and Susie Miller. She loved her family. She did light housework.

She moved to Stacyville in 1956 and was a member of the Stacyville Catholic Church. In 1991 she moved to the Stacyville Community Nursing Home due to failing health.

Her hobbies included quilting, crocheting, playing cards and being with her family.

She is survived by her sister, Cordella and her husband, George Firsching, of Stacyville; and a niece, Karen and her husband, John Marsh, of Roseville, Minn.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two nieces, Irma and Donna Firsching.
