Elizabeth (nee Lane) Irvin 1856-1935

MRS. IRVIN FUNERAL IS CONDUCTED IN RICEVILLE

Riceville – March 28. – Mrs. Elizabeth Irvin ,78, was buried Tuesday afternoon at the Congregational church, the Rev. Jonas Priestley officiating.

Mrs. Irvin was a Howard County Pioneer, coming to Iowa in 1861 at the age of 4 years. A large number of Persons was in attendance. She was the mother of five children, all of whom survive.

Elizabeth (nee Lane) was born December 1856 according to the 1900 Census. Her maiden name according to the 1925 Iowa Census was Lane. She married James Irvin 1836-1904. They are buried in the Riverside, Riceville, Mitchell, Cemetery.
