JOSEPH COLE, 80, IS DEAD
AT OSAGE AFTER SIEGE OF
ILL HEALTH

Osage, Iowa, March 18 – Joseph A Cole, 80, died Sunday evening at 8:30 o’clock at his home here. Mr. Cole was born February 18, 1850 in Ohio and had been a resident of Mitchell County for 46 years.

The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock in the Shelledy funeral home.

Mrs. Cole died 13 years ago and since then Mr. Cole’s niece, Miss Velma Solace, has cared for him.
