RITES SET FOR AGED RESIDENT
MRS. MARY LUDOWITZ, 82, SUCCUMBS AT HOSPITAL
Charles City – Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at Grossmanns for Mrs. Mary Ludowitz, 82, who died at the Cedar Valley hospital Thursday where she had been a patient since July 26th. The Rev. C. D. James, pastor of the Central Methodist church will officiate and interment will be at Osage.
She was born to Charles and May Kuntz Hornney, April 23, 1862, at Sherril, Dubuque county, Iowa, and in 1918 was married to Carl Ludowitz, who died 10 years later following which she came to live with her sister, the late Mrs. Otis Webster, in Charles City.
She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Carrie Nagel, of St. Louis, Mo.
