ELOISE RYAN

OSAGE, IOWA - Eloise Ryan, 82, of St. Ansgar and formerly of Osage, died Monday, Nov. 22, 1999, at the Good Samaritan Center in St. Ansgar.

Eloise was born on November 27, 1916 at Unionville in Appanoose County, Iowa. She was the daughter of Myron and Verna (Wamsley) Morrison.

As a child, Eloise moved to the Osage area. She was educated in rural schools. She married Wesley Ryan on Nov. 1, 1936. Eloise was employed as a dietician-cook at the White House Nursing Home in Osage for many years.

The family suggests memorials may be given to the Good Samaritan Center, 701 East Fourth St., St. Ansgar, Iowa 50472.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 24, at the First Baptist Church in Osage, with the Rev. Gary Gonnerman officiating. Interment will be in the Osage Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Church.

Champion Funeral Home, 702 State St., Osage, is in charge of arrangements.

She is survived by three daughters, Beulah Kurtz and husband, John, of Hopkinsville, Ken., Janet Putnam and her husband, Kenny, of Osage and Joyce Badker, of Manly; four sons, Wayne Ryan and his wife, Marj, of Mason City, Delmar Ryan and his wife, Mary Sue, of Eldridge, Ronald Ryan, of Manly, and Donald Ryan, of Princeton, ll.; a sister, Esther Kemp, of Davenport; three brothers, Donald Morrison, of Osage, Max Morrison, of Osage and Paul Dean Morrison, of Casa Grande, Ariz.; 21 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Sharon Badker; and a granddaughter, Sheila Badker.
